This observation left the impression the object was traveling towards me rather than falling or streaking across the sky like most meteors. The flash was like a point of bright light that increased in diameter as it grew brighter. It was brighter than any meteor I've ever observed. I am 70 years old and an amateur photographer with years of night sky photography experience
